As an avid player, I have been taught a couple of important lessons while playing over the the last couple of years. It doesn’t matter if you prefer to gambling at the ‘bricks and mortar’ casinos or the numerous internet casinos. Here are my golden rules of betting, many of which may be judged clear thinking, but if adhered to they will help you go a long way to departing with a grin on your face.
Rule one: Go to a casino with a set amount that you are willing and can manage to risk – How much would you spend for a night out on food, cocktails, cover fees and tips? This is an excellent number to use.
Rule two: Do not take your debit card with you – or any way of withdrawing money out. Do not be concerned about cash for the taxi if you throw away it all; most cab drivers, notably the taxis hailed through casinos, will take you to your abode and shall be more than happy to wait for the cash when you get home.
Rule three: Stick to an upper threshold. I always think of what I’d want to purchase if I win. The preceding time I was able to go, I decided I’d would like to buy a new digital camera which retailed at $400, so that was my set limit. As soon as I reached this value, I stopped. Just walk away. Even if Clairvoyant Carla herself approaches with you the upcoming number for the roulette wheel, ignore her and walk away. Depart comfortable in the knowledge that you will be proceeding into the city and buying a great new toy!
Rule four: Enjoy yourself. When you’re "enthusiastic" you usually will win. It’s a certainty. I do not know the reason why, but it simply is. As soon as it becomes a burden, or you are just playing to earn cash you have lost, you will exhaust more. When you’re winning, having a wonderful time with your friends, or your girlfriend, you will profit more and more.
